Our Response to the COVID-19 Crisis
In this time of great uncertainty, I wanted to take a moment to answer some questions that many of you may have about our clinic and the vital role of Chiropractors during a health crisis.
Will you continue to see patients?
We intend to continue to see patients with important safety provisions that follow the CDC and MN Department of Health guidance.
What safety provisions are being used at your clinic?
The nature of our healthcare profession makes social distancing of 6 feet or more impossible. That being said, the health and safety of our patients is our highest priority and our clinic is enforcing strict safety provisions that follow the CDC and MN Department of Health guidance.
This includes:
- Clinic staff washing hands with soap and water or alcohol-based and cleaner between each patient
- Employing rigorous hygiene standards at every point of contact. This includes sanitizing treatment tables, desks, armchairs, face cradles, door handles between each treatment session
- Frequent temperature testing
- Allowing for ample time between each patient visit to reduce the number of patients in our lobby
If I have symptoms of COVID-19 can I still make an appointment?
We ask that anyone who exhibits symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough, fatigue, or shortness of breath not to come into our clinic but instead call their primary care provider.
Do you still accept walk-ins?
Yes, but we are encouraging online/app booking as much as possible to reduce foot traffic in our lobby as much as we can.
What role does a Chiropractor play during a health crisis?
The COVID-19 crisis has put an unprecedented strain on our health care system. Chiropractic clinics like ours support medical healthcare providers in allowing them to prioritize care and concentrate on the emergent situation, while not neglecting patients who have debilitating conditions that are not related to the COVID-19 or other illnesses.
As the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to unfold, our team is taking the steps needed to offer care while protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our patients, staff, and community.
We are all in this together and our team is committed to supporting you during this uncertain time.
Be safe and stay healthy.
